The Philosophy of Creative Entrepreneurship

I truly believe that there has never been a better time to be a creative person and bring your creative vision into the world. Whether you are a programmer, artist, or a web designer, a game designer, an inventor, writer, a filmmaker, architect, engineer, or anyone who has something they want to create, it is easier today than ever before.

This is made possible, at least in part, by the acceleration of technological progress. Technology is advancing rapidly, expanding our capabilities, and bringing us better and better tools to accomplish what we want to accomplish. In fact, there are so many tools out there that no small part of success is learning what tools there are, what they do, and how to use them to make something happen that you want.

Because it is getting easier and easier to accomplish everything we want to do, why isn’t everyone living a very fulfilled life of accomplishment? I think it is because this is not something that is taught. I think there is a strong educational component to success. Learning the very practical information that contributes to success is critical.

Computers are empowering no matter what field we are working in. When we sit down at a computer we should feel powerful, especially when it is connected to the internet. Everyone should know how to take advantage of that. That is the reason I started UltraMindz. I wanted to create a vehicle that teaches the practical skills and techniques people need to create what they want to create under their own terms. No small part of that is learning how to use the tools available to maximum effect to achieve your goals and create the best world we can.

When someone decides to bring their creative vision into the world under their own terms, they are committing to mastering many different skills. That person must master not only the technical requirements of the particular field he or she is working in, but also master business and marketing skills. Mastering all of these is a major undertaking. You could easily specialize in either a creative field or in marketing and business management. But doing both is the path that you must take if you want to be a creative entrepreneur.

So there is a lot to do, but let’s make it happen.
